Day 2: Besides yourself, tell us about the first person you came out to? Was it easy after that?
Well the first person I ever came out to was my best friend in middle school, Mai Vue. She kind of suspected that I was in the beginning anyways because we became so close. You know … like, “best girlfriends,” close hahaha. The both of us went through that whole teenage angst phase, trying to figure out who we, “really,” were lol oh man. And it was that time when I told someone for the very first time. I still wasn’t comfortable with letting everyone know so we just kept it between the both of us. After that, things didn’t necessarily get easier. It just felt good to have someone else to act myself around.
